Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat kafe di Yogyakarta mencerminkan transformasi gaya hidup urban, di mana kafe tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat konsumsi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang sosial dan pembelajaran multifungsi. Kondisi ini membuka peluang kolaborasi lintas sektor antara industri perhotelan dan layanan pendidikan nonformal, sebagaimana terlihat dalam kerja sama antara English Café dan Alive Fusion Dining di kawasan Timoho.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peluang bisnis, pola kolaborasi, serta formulasi strategi dalam kemitraan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan terhadap para pelaku yang terlibat dalam kolaborasi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peluang bisnis muncul dari integrasi aktivitas English Café ke dalam ekosistem operasional kafe, yang berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah pengunjung, optimalisasi pemanfaatan fasilitas, serta peningkatan daya tarik usaha. Pola kolaborasi yang terbentuk bersifat simbiosis mutualisme, di mana English Café memperoleh akses lokasi strategis dan efisiensi biaya, sementara Alive Fusion Dining mendapatkan peningkatan arus pelanggan dan stabilitas aktivitas ekonomi.

Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, strategi diferensiasi, kepemimpinan biaya, dan fokus direkomendasikan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan kolaborasi jangka panjang yang saling menguntungkan.
